- I expect this has been tossed your way before, but do you have the
- value of "MaxTransfer" set to a value a kilobyte or so below the
- "cache" buffer on the drive? Setting MaxTransfer above it can lead
- to overrun problems in the write phase. I've had it work ok for
- days, then eat half the data on the drive the next.
